ABOUT MOUNT ST. MARY'S RUGBY
Mount St. Mary's Men's Rugby was established in 1973. After a 2016 National Small College Organization Title, the Mount moved to D1-AA and the Chesapeake Collegiate Rugby Conference (CCRC). In the first season, Mount finished 2nd overall in the conference and qualified for playoffs. In its second season, Mount took a rebuilding team with over 20 freshmen and closely missed the playoffs. In 2016, The Mount attended the Collegiate Rugby Championship (CRC) 7's tournament and placed 2nd overall in the Philadelphia Division. The following year, Mount won the Philadelphia division and qualified for the D1 bracket in 2018.
Mount St. Mary's University is a private liberal arts Catholic University that was established in 1808 and is located in Emmitsburg, MD. The Mount has over 2,000 undergraduate and graduate students and over 40 majors, minors and concentrations.
Mount Rugby also prides itself in community service, having volunteered at children's homes, children's hospitals, and locally with organizations such as The American Red Cross.
